Variable acoustic system for bass range applications
Acoustic textiles enable variable room acoustics in the medium and high frequency range. For the low frequency range, which is especially important for rock and pop music, this task is much more difficult. Gerriets produces and distributes the unique aQflex™ product line in cooperation with the Danish acoustic company Flex Acoustics. By inflating membranes made of PVC, the sound absorption is controlled so that down to frequencies below 100 Hz, the absorption in the room can be variably controlled. The reverberation time can thus be adjusted for multifunctional use between classical, unamplified or electronic music.

[SOUND CURTAIN STAGE]
Effective in the background
The classic Sound Curtain STAGE is often mounted in the theatre directly behind the main curtain. During scenic changes, it is lowered after the main curtain is closed to separate the sounds on stage from the auditorium and thus maintain the theatrical illusion.
For this purpose, we have been developing the Sound Curtain STAGE 5 or 7 layer sound curtain for many years, which significantly reduces the scenic change over noise from transmitting into the audience. Our Sound Curtain OFFICE sound curtains have a similar structure, with which offices, meeting rooms and other areas can be elegantly separated by means of electrically driven tracking systems.
